Intellectual Output 1 provides the theoretical framework of the cultural heritage concept, clarifying the different categories and the various characteristics of each group.
The main goal of this output is to clarify that in different educational systems, culture and technology can be a link and a tool for a common communication code in the educational process even at a young age.
The students discover the cultural characteristics of their region and learn about the local history, architecture, folklore art, customs, and cultural heritage. By the end of this section, the students realize the distinct cultural characteristics of each country, get familiar with different cultures and appreciate the concept of humanity’s diversity. 3D printing technology is a valuable tool in this direction. Students develop their technical skills to research, create, present, and evaluate their ideas about cultural heritage. 3D printing technology gives the opportunity to fabricate in 3 dimensions models of local and world cultural heritage.
